Igo<\/a> is an Associate Professor in Ceramics and Design at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas.\u00a0 She received her B.S. in Biology (Evolution, Ecology, and Environmental) at University of Texas, Austin in 2001, and her M.F.A. in Ceramics at\u00a0the University of North Texas in 2006.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Jill O'Brien\" href=\"http:\/\/jill.wampa.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jill O\u2019Brien<\/a> is an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Texas and North Central Texas College. In 2002, she received her B.A. in English &amp; Literature at the University of Texas, Austin, and her M.F.A. in Ceramics at the University of North Texas in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Igo and O\u2019Brien work in mixed media to explore the relationship between science and aesthetic, nostalgia and fantasy. They have worked collaboratively since 2001 to nurture an imaginarium of taxidermy, photography, sculpture, and found objects that represent a shared ideal past and future. Their work is exhibited nationally and internationally and their collaborative work was the subject of an award-winning documentary short, <em>Still, Life<\/em>, 2005.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><em>Animal philosophies are rife with contradictions brought about by our\u00a0<\/em><em>childhood idolatry of animals and our societal use and slaughter of\u00a0<\/em><em>them. \u00a0Commixing these extremes, Trish Igo and Jill O&#8217;Brien create\u00a0<\/em><em>a dreamlike expos\u00e9 of our haunted faunal relationships.
